EA Error "Oh Snap, It Crashed" When Launching Game "It Takes Two"

Summarize your bug Launching the game "It Takes Two" through Steam, opens the EA app, but shortly after, throws an error message saying: "Oh snap, it crashed. The EA app ran into a problem. A simple restart should resolve the issue."
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Maybe try running It Takes Two from Steam and see if it loads up? I've always sent crash reports everytime the message popped up.
What happens when the bug occurs? An error message pops up preventing me from playing the game.
What do you expect to see? The game to be launched without any error

Attached is the error message I have been receiving every time I try to run "It Takes Two" game.

I've also tried to re-install the game and the EA app, but to no avail, it doesn't resolve the issue.

    I've been recently having trouble trying to launch the game. I have the game installed on Steam and have logged 13 hours on the game to date.
     
    Just today, when I tried launching the game, it opens the EA app, and gives me an error message "Oh snap, it crashed...".
     
    I've tried looking at solutions online, but none of them have been working so far, since I don't think it's a problem with the game itself. Any help would be much appreciated!
     
    So far, I have uninstalled/re-installed the game and the EA app, but the same error still persists...
     
    Any help would be really appreciated, as I really want to get back to playing this game ASAP!

    Hi! 

    I have the same problem. 

    We played two times, 
    We've logged 3.5 h of time. there were no problems. 

    And then it stopped launching, about two weeks ago. 
    EA app crashes every time I try to launch the game. 

    I created several tickets to EA support, 
    the only thing they did - sending me some web articles to reinstall Direcxt, 

    I tried everything EA help articles say and also what people on the web say, 

    NOTHING helped. 


    So it is been 2 weeks since I tried everything and still cannot launch the game...

    At least I'm not alone and there is some hope someone would help us.

    I got it to work by installing Origin. Nothing else worked for me.

    I found a hacky solution, but I got it working by uninstalling the EA app completely and installing the Origin app instead (which is EA's legacy client). Try starting the game from Steam and/or Origin. If that doesn't work, then do the following:

    1. Make sure the Origin client is opened.

    2. Make sure Steam is opened.

    3. Select the "It Takes Two" game on Steam.

    4. You are going to press the "Play" button 3 times (each time after the Play button appears again, that is, turns "Green" again). Here is a recording of what I exactly mean.

    5. It should launch It Takes Two now (but the friend pass edition).

    The above steps is the current working solution I have right now. Not really sure why this works, but it does for me lol.

    I also posted this same issue on the Microsoft forums. Here is a reply from that. I didn't bother following up because what I am currently doing is working right now, so I didn't want to investigate further. Maybe that person's reply might work for you.

    I have the same issue. * this EA App, i tried everything and i cannot play the game. Will try to get the origin app from other sources now, since you CANT DOWNLOAD IT ANYMORE FROM EA?

    Spent an hour dealing with this problem.

    Delete everything under launch options.

    Right click on battlefield in steam --> properties

    hope it works

    Has anyone found a solution? I have been haveing this problem with all of my ea games since downloading the ea app. Since Orgin now no longer works I dont know what to do

    Where do you mean "launch options"? In steam? Where can I find it? I'm using the German version so I have to translate that but I couldn't find anything which would be similar to "launch options".
