EA games bought on Steam Won't start with EA app

Hi, I bought The Sims 4 and most of the dlc's a while ago on Steam and played it without problems, until I moved to the EA Desktop app. Now I can't launch The Sims anymore unless I download the Origi...

I had the same issue. What I did was browse to the game in the EA app, clicked on the (...) next the the install button, and selected add to my collection.

This fixed it for me, The game I was trying to play was battlefield 2042.
