No it's not related to their GPU, because its happening on PS5 too, I cant play any EA games without them crashing every 5 minutes... THANK GOD, y'all have trials and I didnt had to waste money on them. When is this going to be fixed? Also, FIFA 22 and 23 both lag MASSIVELY on PS5.
Sounds like you are having issues with your console @CoachZeke, I've never had any issues with an EA game crashing on my PS5 or issues with lag.
What steps have you tried to improve your network and look into your console issues?

People up in here with high end gaming rigs and PS5s and all you can do is think its our hardware. It's not. How could a PS5 possibly have any issues. EA launcher is just trash and only just recently came out of beta stage which is fair enough but here you are indicating it's our hardware and lack of trouble-shooting. Fact is if we can't just click on a game and have it boot instantly then why should we bother or have to do muck around trouble-shooting and file trickery. My flash new high end PC can play witcher 3 on steam and flight sim 2020 on xbox app and age of empires 4 but I can't play medal of honor allied assault a 20 year old game through ea play. I also can't play command and conquer. But it does let me play sim city 2014. Strange.
I suggest to anyone to not bother with ea play launcher altogether for a good wee while until it's been updated further. Maybe it's because I am only doing $1 trial for the first month, maybe that's why. But I am not going to risk paying full price for any game on ea play launcher. If you are using game pass on xbox app, only bother with games that are not are not affliliated with EA (do not have the little ea play notation at the bottom of the tile) because I have no issues with those ones. Also you can go to GOG and simply buy ea games for quite cheap (on sale at present) and you will have no issues. I bought medal of honor allied assault to own for only $2.49 US and no issues whatsoever.
Perhaps the issue is do with some communication problem between EA and xbox. Googling this it just seems like they point the finger at each other.

I just wanted to add to this thread because I've been having similar issues trying to play EA play games on PC game pass. I tried Mirrors Edge Catalyst months ago and after a few minutes of the game running, it would just crash to my desktop with seemingly no errors or anything. Didn't care to bother with it much so I uninstalled it and moved on lol. I'm trying to play A Way Out now and I'm having the same exact issue again. I play games on PC game pass all the time. Only EA play games have this issue.

I'm trying to launch ANY game through the EA app and nothing launches. All games crash on startup. It's not my hardware. Your launcher needs serious work, sometimes the mouse cursor doesn't even line up in the launcher, but does with the rest of my desktop and every other app. Please address these issues and stop blaming hardware or the users.

OK, HERE IS THE SOLUTION WHICH SOLVED BOTH ISSUES FOR MY SYSTEM ("getdeviceremovedreason" and no error crash using the EA App) I had with my brand-new PC I built within the last few days.
Here is my Build, BIOS and GPU Drivers with the most recent updates.
Windows 11 Education 64-Bit
MSI Z790 Tomahawk DDR4
Intel i7-13700K 3.4Ghz
Kingston Fury Beast 3600 MHZ (32GB *4 )128GB DDR4 (which is in the QVL List)
SAMSUNG 980 PRO SSD 1TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe Gen 4 Gaming (*2)
Thermaltake ToughPower 1000W
As you can see, excellent, recent and solid components, no reason to have any issues whatsoever. As mentioned, I got both DirectX error messages "getdeviceremovedreason," which would crash the game to desktop, and the regular crash to desktop with no error whatsoever. It would happen to all games played through the EA App, which led me to believe it was an issue with the App, but it was not. And once it completely crashed my system and restarted it (which was concerning since it was brand new). When the crash rebooted my PC, the red light on my MSI motherboard remained on conspicuously long; upon review, that was the DRAM light, which would indicate something was wrong with the memory.
I went in the BIOS and realized the XMP Profile for both channels was on. I made sure it was off and went into the settings to make sure it said XMP: Disabled. I rebooted the PC and it has not happened in 2 days now.
TL;DR
DISABLE any XMP utility or anything that would modify the memory settings/speed of your RAM. The EA App does not handle it correctly and crashes the App to the desktop without justification.
Hope this fixes the issue for a lot of people cause it was so frustrating building a brand-new pc and being able to game for a max of 10-15 minutes before the game crashes for no logical reason.
