Hello, so when I try to launch BFV it doesn't work. No error, no nothing, it just loads the EA app, minimizes it and then loads it back up but the game wont launch. I tried launching it from both steam and ea app. I have it purchased on steam.I tried reinstalling everything, every app, deleted cache. I have everything updated since I reinstalled windows a week ago. It worked before, but for whatever reason it doesn't now.Also two days ago I downloaded the free trial of BF 2042 to try it out. But when I wanted to launch the game it didn't work. Same thing as Battlefield V. I don't know what else to do.

for me it solved to put all the executables from the following folder to open in administrator modeC:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop

Hey @nirdoc_aerdoc11 Can we start with the following steps?

EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)

Repair Games (Go to My Collection > Select the tile Dots > Repair)

Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance

for me it solved to put all the executables from the following folder to open in administrator mode

@PauDeCabinda wow apparently it works for me too. I put all the .exe files to run as administrator and it worked. Thanks a lot.

Another fantastic release from EA! Just updated from Origin and suddenly I can't play anything. Administrator mode and rebuilding caches/repairing doesn't work either. What quality.

I have this problem sometimes with Mass Effect 1 (2007, classic edition). Don't know why it happens, but I figured out when it does there is a zombie ActivationUI.exe and Mass Effect.exe running in the background. I end those tasks and try again until it works. Sometimes it just works. Other times it takes a few tries.

@Steelydan73 You right click the .exe file in the folder and choose Properties. Click Compatibility tab and check the option towards bottom to "run this program as an administrator". Repeat this for each one in the folder.
