EA launcher does not start, "entry point not found"

Glad to help! There are different W10 build options, you can update them through "Windows Update". But I have problems with updates, so I will have to look for other ways to solve the problem.

Update: The Team is currently working on a hotfix to address this issue for all impacted users, including those on Windows 7 and Windows 8. The fix will require a Client reinstall/repair once it is available.

Please help,When I click to open EA App so I can play sims I get this and  it was working fine when I quit playing Thursday and hadn’t been on my computer since then or played.I’ve tried repairing and still get that,I've since uninstalled and installed the EA App back and still get this

I’m having the same issue and it was working fine on Thursday and I’ve been off my computer since then but when I got on today to play I got the same message and I’m on windows 8.1 and never had this issue till today very mad right now

My laptop is doing the same things to sense I update it

Yeah, same thing is happening to me too. I am on Windows 7 and it was working perfectly fine the other day. Totally unacceptable and need an immediate solution.

My Windows is completely up to date on 11 and I found what worked for me was the basically "install" the EA app again. When the pop-up came up, I just chose "repair" and it seemed to work for me! (:
