I have a similar problem. At first the App asked for administrator permissions to run the game for which I said yes, after few seconds later it came up with an error message (with wording like error from our side, try again later!) which I did and exactly the same outcome.
Tried all the usual stuff listed by "support", and nothing works. I even gave administrator permissions to the game executable but exactly the same error.
So I no longer have access to games that I bought - this is absolutely unacceptable.
I wish that I can transfer all my Origin games to Steam and do away with this bloated piece of useless client.
I just wanted to add that the only reason why I am posting here is because the EA support website goes into an infinite loop every time I select (for EA App) Technical Support -> Game Won't launch, so I can't put any support ticket! Is this intentional?
