EA Launcher.exe Bad Image

Today completely unprompted I have received an error that VCRUNTIME140.dll is 'not either not designed to run on Windows or contains an error.' I have reinstalled the 2015-2022 C++ Redistributable many times but the issue is still happening. 

I am unable to re-install the app because of the same error.

    To ANYONE who might be unlucky as me and stumbles upon this thread, if all else fails go to CONTROL PANEL on your Windows and click uninstall - the EA app for some reason will offer to repair it.

    If going to the control panel -> uninstall programs and clicking the EA app doesn't offer a repair, go to the EA website and download the installation file. when you open it, it will say EA app already installed and prompt to repair the app. this worked for me because the control panel did not.

    Hello, I have both x86 and x64 installed. I have re-installed them as well.

    I do not have an EA Anti-cheat anywhere in my games, I play The Sims 4 and Dragon Age Inquisition.

    I cannot open the app so I can't repair or manage anything.

    @justwithportals 

    Make sure you have both the x86 and x64 files installed from the 2015-2022 C++ Redistributable.

    Uninstalling and reinstalling EA Anti-cheat may also help. 

    Click into the game and then Manage and Repair too.
