The EA app will not allow me to play games I have on steam because "Your Epic subscription has ended. Renew your subscription to continue playing." The date of ended subscription is the same as when my Xbox gamepass subscription ended.

Just to confirm the information, you purchased the game on Steam and also had the game through a subscription. Now, after the subscription has expired, you're not able to play the game that you purchased through Steam. Is that correct?
If that's what's happening here, are you trying to launch the game from Steam or directly from the EA app?

That is correct, I have tried to launch the game through both the EA app and steam but it will not launch on either.
