"Hold up, you need permission.
This game requires administrator privileges to launch."
I click ok and give permission, it acts like its loading for a second and just stops. I tried restarting both xbox game pass and ea beta
and made sure they were closed in task manager and all that and reopening them and still no luck
When it asks for permission it references my temp folder.I was thinking it might be possible when it downloaded maybe it just put them in
the wrong directory? I have included a picture of what I'm talking about. I have an up to date computer with all updated drivers so there should be no reason why this is doing this. All other NON EA games are playing perfectly fine.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Same behavior here. Same directory
Same for me with Pyre. I tried running the game as an admin and the EA Desktop app as well, but nothing is working. The same thing as OP posted happens time after time.

They still didn't find fix this. I think it might have something to do on how game behave under Origins vs Desktop

So will someone from EA ever respond to this with an official answer or some sort of solution?

Of course not. They never do.
I'm having same problem with Mass effect. Going to download Crisis 3 see if it's just the game.
Running games on Xbox is no problem, because MS won't let them use the pile of *** that is EA Desktop.
Bethesda games run thought he GamePass app, but EA likes to have control using this pathetic excuse for a program.
