EA play, MacOS, and the Sims 3

Hi! I wanted to get the Sims 3 for my Mac, through the new EA app. I had heard though, that you could get it and a starting bundle if you subscribed to EA Play. But I've been looking on the internet just to see what other players have dealt with, and many complain about EA Play not working for their Macs, even if they purchase it. I was wondering if that is still the case. I couldn't find any updated information on if EA Play works for Macs and specifically for Sims 3 on Macs now. Thank you!!! 🙂

    @Miss_Burgerwolf1  EA Play is still Windows-only, so no, buying it won't allow you to play Sims 3 on your Mac.  Besides, during sales at least, the Sims 3 Starter Pack costs barely more than one month's subscription to EA Play, so you'd be better off buying the game outright even in Windows.  The Starter Pack is also the only content you'd get through EA Play.
