EA Play Pro not connecting to Steam

I bought Madden 24 through Steam where I buy my games, I got EA Play Pro on the EA App because it's theirs.  Ea App will not link to Steam.  25 $ straight to garbage ?

    Hi @BTugs5,

    EA Play Pro is not available on Steam, nor is EA Play cross-platform (or cross-launcher in this case). EA Play Pro is only available for the PC EA app.

    I would also like to highlight the EA Play FAQ that is on our website.

    Not cross LAUNCHER is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.  Pathetic
