EA Play the final stages of installation didn't GO as planned

I had a similar problem with a few add ons for the sims for my partner kept getting to 80% then that would pop up and stop the installment. Try everything was told online clear cache and everything. Still nothing but then I clicked on the main game, went on to manage game and click repair game. Once that was done the downloads worked without any problems.
