EA stuck on "Preparing Game" POP UP
Playing on a PC using Windows
All games I own are affected by this but the game I'll focus on is Dragon Age: Inquisition.
I have followed previous forums on here and on reddit regarding this issue I have also gone through support to try and resolve this issue.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game itself. I have repaired the game. I have cleared my cache. I have updated everything all the way from GEFORCE to Windows itself. I have tried the suggestions from support such as delete files found under the license folder but leave the folder alone. I'm at a loss on what to do.
Figured out the issue. Sad to say, but sadly not surprised, it was the EA launcher. Went a roundabout way to use origin and everything is running perfectly. Tried using EA to see if maybe it was fixed and it stopped working again, went back to Origin and it was perfect again. Not sure if anyone on here can put a word in to fix that launcher, but it is sad to see such a good launcher and part of my childhood just go this far downhill. If anyone needs help with the same issue I had I am more than open to provide steps to follow!
