EA Support live chat refused to help me with my issue

In part making this post for a paper trail.

Bought a game on steam, that i'd trialed with ea play. Unable to load into it through steam, and it shows up as being a trial when loaded in ea app, and doesnt show up in the libary, but when clicked on to buy in ea app, it shows that i do own it. 

Obviously support saying 'nothign we can do' and then closing the chat is not ideal, so... paper trail.
