EA won’t reinstall

Yesterday when I tried to boot up the sims my pc kept saying my EA app crashed. I tried repairing it and restarting my pc but I eventually had to just uninstall the app. When I tried to reinstall the app it won’t do anything. I click download and it appears as a file in the top corner. When I click on it the text asks if I want to run the file and when I click run nothing happens. Kinda over this broken app but I want to play sims 🥲
