Epic Games App Trying to Link with Origin Instead of EA App

I recently "bought" the free Daring Lifestyle Bundle on the Epic Games app and I'm attempting to follow tutorials to link it with the EA App. However, when I follow the instructions listed on the EA website, it prompts me to install Origin as opposed to recognizing that I have the EA app installed.

Has anyone had a similar problem and does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.

  • @kristan450 Hi! I had the same exact problem. What worked for me was uninstalling the Epic Games app, and then reinstalling it. Hopefully that works for you too! 🙂

@kristan450 The team is aware of these reports. Let us know if you run into any issues after a reinstall of the Epic client.
