Of course, EA could just be using their own 3-digit error codes that look like HTTP status codes. I certainly hope they aren't though, as that would be confusing.
I have the same problem. It did install the first time but I was unable to download any games. When I uninstalled it and tried to reinstall it, the "Something blew up" message appeared right after clicking "Let´s Go". In contradiction to OP, the error didn´t appear just before finishing, but rather a second after clicking the button. It then asks me to restart my PC, but when I click "Yes", all it does is closing the app and not restarting. I have found no solution so far (un/reinstalling didn't work either) and hope someone can help me, as the XBOX Ultimate Pass makes it impossible to install the games that are included in EA-Play any other way than over EA-Desktop.

Hi @VortexPulse22,
There are some suggestions in this thread, could you let me know what you have tried to fix it so far?

Hi @xXRyanXx46,
In that case, please try repairing/reinstalling VC++ as described in this thread:
- 5 years ago@EA_Jason yaa baby thats what im talkin about. thank you. i had tried making an empty folder and seeing if it could fill that and updating windows, but such a niche little thing to have to go so far around to fix it.
