error message when trying to download ea

everytime i try to download EA, i get this error message "there was a problem starting c:/windows/installer/msi2443.tmp, c:/windows/installer/msi2443.tmp is not a valid win32 application." how can i ...

Check also if you can install to the default location (C:\) rather than a secondary drive (D, E, F etc) if that happens to be the case.

Downloaded again and tried installing again, on default location, with no success. Noticed that the .tmp file changes everytime, if that's of any relevance.
