[FIXED] - Unable to Install The Sims 4 after For Rent DLC Pre-Order on EA app

The title....

I had to uninstall the game for other reasons and them when I tried to re-download it I keep getting this message, but ONLY for the sims 4... I can still download sims 3 and other games I have normally...

The only different thing I can think of is that I pre-ordered the "for rent" expansion. I don't know if that might be the issue (like ea app trying to download something that isn't available right know or whatever)... I just wanna download my game, why downloads keeps being an issue every few months on EA App but nowhere else......

    Hey folks, 

    The EA app dev teams have informed us that the issue, which was preventing the download or installation of The Sims 4 on EA app for those who pre-ordered the upcoming For Rent DLC on EA app, has been resolved.

    Just to be on the safe side, could you do an EA app Recovery and let us know here in the thread if everything's running smoothly now?

    It's still throwing an error message at me every time I try to download The Sims 4. I had to wipe my computer and now it isn't functioning. I've tried all of the listed fixes. Please help!

    @Jonanner88  Did you pre-order the upcoming expansion?  What error do you see when you try to install Sims 4?  Please post a screenshot.

    I'm having this issue today, i haven't pre ordered the new expansion. I've tried everything on the list.
