When did this happen? (dd.mm.yy hh:mm) 1/17/2024
Summarize your bug In short, whether I launch the app as an administrator or not, I cannot change the default install location of games.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I have no idea if this is a widespread issue or an off case.
What happens when the bug occurs? Cannot install new games unless it is to my C drive.
What do you expect to see? Game installs being locked to the C drive

Any time that I change the install location of a specific game it still shows me the free space on my C: drive. I cannot change the default location from the C drive no matter what I do. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the ea app as well.

    I really need help with this. I tried administrator privileges, moving everything ea related to an external drive, reinstalled the ea app on 3 different devices and all of them have this issue so it was probably caused from a new update seeing how this never happened before. Every time I try to change the install location when trying to install a game, it changes to the new location like usual, making you think it might've worked, but the "free space available" message never changes, meaning that it actually never changed the install location. this is proven when you go to the ea app settings and try to change the default location, where it will do nothing at all and stay locked on the default location. Since every one of my devices now has this issue, and lots of people have been talking about it just today I'm assuming I'll have to wait for an update that fixes this, but as it stands i cant play any of the games i dont currently have installed because i install them all on an external drive..
