I am having a similar problem. Yesterday I installed a new graphics card (RTX 3060 Ti lhr) and a 4Tb SSD. I moved all my steam games over to the new hard drive. I tried to start bf 2042 last night and it wouldn't launch. It worked fine before I worked on my PC. The graphics card is up to date, so is windows 10. I uninstalled bf 2042 and reinstalled it like 4 times now, on both my old and new drive. I uninstalled Origin and installed EA Play. I have run EA Play, Steam, Easy Anticheat, and bf 2042 as admin and nothing works. The farthest I go is seeing easy anticheat launch, but not the actual game. I ran easy anticheat to try and reinstall it on bf 2042, that didnt do anything. I have restarted my computer, that didnt do anything either. bf 2042 wasn't launching on origin so I think it isn't a problem with the switch between the apps. I think it is an EA-Steam link error, can't seem to connect my accounts even though they are connected.
