Summarize your bug EA app greys out games that I have installed on steam and won't allow me to update or play them. When my child tries to play these games on her EA account she gets the same errors.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Install Apex legends on EA, then install it on Steam. Try to play Apex on EA, even from a different account and it won't let you. Very simple.
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to update or launch from EA, the apps are just greyed out.
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to be able to update and launch without it telling me I can't have something on multiple platforms.
This feels like a sad attempt to force a proprietery app play system that is failing misserably. EA doesn't have any games I can't live without. That said, I have paid hard earned currency to own the games I have, on what use to be Origin (now EA) and would like to not be told what apps I can have installed and where, especially when I've paid into or purchased them. I understand that it's hard to find good, honest, hard working individuals that understand how to earn money for a company and not screw the people you produce a product for, but I'd fire the whole team and start over because they clearly don't have what it takes and are lacking severely. Unless you're all a bunch of far left, libtards then you're right on track. Go woke, get broke!
Before it gets asked, the answer is no, I will not uninstall it from Steam which is a superior launcher, and no I will not make my daughter make a steam account to play hers since she already has it on EA.
