Ever since the newest update I haven't been able to launch TS4. The update started to partially go through but every-time preparing gets to about 2% it pops up with an error message saying the download cannot be completed, I've reinstalled the EA app and TS4 but now I can't get it to even re-download the game, I've removed all TS4 related files from my computer and still nothing. Hopefully a fix happens soon!
Hey I've been having a similar thing and haven't had any help either, is it also showing/saying it can't connect or that connection failed even though it's opening outside of offline mode and appears normal? For mine that seems to be an issue also and was curious if yours was appearing the same as I've gotten no help thus far.
That's exactly what mine was doing too, before I deleted it I could open in offline mode. The EA app fully winds up crashing out my whole compute. A friend told me that the files might be fully corrupted and since i cant delete them if I want to play it then ill more then likely have to reset my laptop to factory setting to clear the files. Sims 3 is also having launching issues
This is my problem as well. It appears the app is the issue as it stops at 2% when trying to update or repair. I uninstalled everything (app, all sims games) and was hoping a fresh install would help it but same issue. Tried to force the app to update as it appears my current one is out of date? But it still fails. And now I can’t download my games again. Is anyone even looking into this issue or responding from EA?
