game won't run in a virtual environment

I'm trying to launch a game via the EA app, but I keep getting an error that says the game won't run in a virtual environment. I've already checked, and I don't have Hyper-V enabled or any other virtualization software installed. I've also disabled virtualization in BIOS/UEFI, but the issue persists. My drivers and Windows are up to date. Has anyone else experienced this, and how did you resolve it?  PLEASE HELP
