So, I got the EA app, and ever since, my game is launching with a 32-bit compatibility instead of the standard 64 bit? I included a screen shot of the shell that pops up. I don't know how to change this. I don't have the Legacy Edition. It happens whether or not I have my mods folder in. This didn't happen with Origin.

having same issues with ea play games on xbox gamepass. 3Dmark on steam also behaves like this when not forced to run at 64-bit. its probably related to architecture detection, just a guess.

Please change the default terminal application as windows console host (as the photo). This will fix the problem.
The problem exist with the default option : let windows decide.

UPDATE: I noticed that changing that setting makes BF2042 unplayable. It can load the game just fine, but going into match makes it crash/freeze.
