have to reset password everytime to login

everytime i start up the PC to play the ea app opens and looks like its working, but when i try and load a game i get error connecting ... this happens on all games and all servers. I figured out its the account hasn't authenticated properly.

so then i close the ea app, battle log etc, i have even tried rebooting the pc. then try and login again. I tried using apple id, that doesn't work, it always gets some error saying it didn't work try again later. then i try logging with email and password, i get error saying the username or password is wrong or expired. i try logging with ea id and password, same error username or password is wrong or expired. this goes on endlessly.

the way to make it work is to use the password reset link, receive the email, click the link, reset the password to the same password I've been using for the last 20 years and then try and login again after the password reset, apple id login never works, but email and ea id works. i can then join servers and play games.

I've tried getting on chat with EA's useless support who dont know anything about IT systems and are more stupid that someone who has never used a PC before, and of course they waste your time and try and try and get you to do brain dead things like tether your PC to your phone to try and another network ? like wtf? what sort of support is that?

EA doesn't seem to be able to build a federated identity system properly, probably because they use Indian development for everything. Luckly i only play battlefield 3 occasionally and generally don't waste my time gaming so this sort of pathetic software usability stuff can annoy all your everyday gamers. the world is really going down, you can see the decline in everything now days. what a shame. EA sucks balls.

  • This is EA's new policy to reduce server load and weed out those users who aren't tenacious enough to log into origin and play games they've already bought. Statistically, about 40% of users will very quickly stop trying to log into origin and play their games. This means that EA will need 40% less server capacity. But those 40% of users have ALREADY bought some games, meaning they have ALREADY paid their money to EA. And there is NO MORE need to spend money on servicing these users.
    PROFIT.

  • Same issue here. One of the advisor said that many player are facing similar issue and suggest to wait for a fix.

  • Same with me. Every day I get the same error. First I log in fine. Then fire up BF4. Starts fine but when I go to an internet server it says can't connect, in RED. Says I need to log in. But I already logged in. So I try again and it says invalid or expired credentials. I reset my password and then all is back to normal.....until the next day. SAME ISSUE EVERY DAY.

It's like Groundhog day all over again. Same error, same failed login, same fix of changing password.

WTF is going on?  I can't be changing my password every friggen day!

...follow up. Now, I can't get into any of my BF4 Servers. It just hangs after telling me I'm connecting. Then when I cancel out and go back to game browser, it tells me I need to login to EA, again. and AGAIN, it will not take my password and it forces me to reset. So I reset only now I still can't start the BF4 game on a server. It hangs again and then I have to repeat, repeat, repeat. This is TOTAL BS.
