help my EA app is broken

hello i can not get in the game at all one day i can play, after last up that it has an error saying The request operation requires elevation. what does that mean? I downloaded steam and the EA shows up i can log in and play but it freezes on me for hours. when i played on steam i also notice my game hours was not there. HELP
