Help!

I have been having issues with downloading my sims4 game to my pc. It’s been a week now and still having problems. The issue is when I go to download the game it only goes to 3% and stops there, then it says I’m missing a variable, I’m not tech savvy so I’m not sure what’s it talking about. I love playing the sims and I just want to get back to playing. Please help!
