I was having the same problem, but I've since figured it out. Once you download the EA app and log in click into My collections it should be on the left hand side and then whatever games you had on Origin should pop up. Click to start downloading them, once downloaded if you have packs with the games like Sims 4 after Sims 4 downloads the pack should automatically start downloading themselves. Thats what happened for me and I know this was from December, but hoping this may help someone.
The trouble many have, is they cannot even get the EA App to install via the forced upgrade that pops up from the Origin Login.
This always goes through the motions of upgrading, but always falls over, and pathetically then asks if one would like to let the Droids know.
Every time.
So, we never even get as far as being able to examine menu options within the EA App, because we are always returned to the Origin Login, with the EA App forced upgrade pop up dominating it, and not allowing any interaction with the Origin Login or menus, which are to all intents and purposes then disabled.
Last time EA did this in December, they woke up and pulled the EA App forced upgrade, and allowed people to resume access via the operational Origin Login.
Then a week or so ago, they re-launched what seems to be the same broken EA App, and via the same broken forced upgrade pop up, and here we are again.
Totally locked out from PAID FOR CONTENT, because of an annoying new App nobody who was otherwise happy using the Origin Login, either needs or wanted.
Yes, have also tried downloading the EA App as well, but get the same problem.
