Meant to reply sooner. I figured out the problem though. I simply had to reinstall the EA Games. This is what I encountered until I did so though:
-Closed EA Games, but noticed I was having bits of system slow down that weren't present before I had it running. Tried opening Task Manager, and the only thing still open was EA Background Service. This absolutely refused to stop no matter how many times I hit "end task." Then I noticed a USB drive I had plugged in that refused to actually open, it would just perpetually try to load in Windows Explorer. Reset my computer. Got logged out of various services, such as Gmail and Spotify for some reason. Also noticed weird slowdown on my desktop.
-Tried opening EA Games and installing a smaller game, this time "Dead in Bermuda." When I get to the Download options window, EA Games just locks up. I try end tasking and manually delete several different listings of "EA." EA still won't fully close. All that's left is Background Service, which still won't close. It takes several minutes before EA Games finally closes and Background Service disappears. During this time, my flash drive still won't open and a transfer operation gets cancelled out of nowhere.
-Try repairing EA Games. Still getting weird browser issues, like getting temporary lockups when I try opening a webpage I downloaded (but this could have been related to file transfer.) Try installing Dead in Bermuda again, also gets stuck at 2%. Close EA games but have to end task it to actually stop it. More system slow down, Background Service still won't close. Try to open control panel to reinstall EA Games, it won't load. Windows explorer locking up again. Have to reset again.
-Computer takes abnormally long amount of time to restart. Power down manually. Get logged out of multiple services again, including Gmail. Reinstall EA.
-Dead in Bermuda is actually downloading. Not interested in actually playing it, so I try to cancel the download and install Star Wars. After a bit, the download cancels and Star Wars finally goes through. Various webpages refusing to load during install though.
For whatever reason, EA Games behaved on par with Malware until I reinstalled it. I'm still finding services I was logged out of thanks to it during that time.
