Funny thing is that I can actually install the EA app on my virtual machine just fine... but the installation logs are the exact same both on my VM and my actual computer, where I can't install it, and they don't tell me anything useful at all.
So, I thought, if I can install it on my VM, why don't I move all the files and registry keys over to my actual machine? I did so. Unfortunately, it was a complete failure. Whenever, I try to launch a game, the EA app link window does pop up, but then it just disappears and nothing else happens. Launching the actual app just brings out another error and prompts me to download a manual update, which also doesn't do anything. What a bother.
