The EA app doesn't work, its broken, let us go back to using origin!!!!!
Firstly VapeDream69 , I apologises for hitting reply to your post but I could not for the life of me see a normal reply to topic button anywhere, so sorry for that.
I am also in the same boat as everyone else and simply cannot stand the new EA app/ EA desktop app or whatever nonsense there are calling it, it's simply rubbish it's caused me nothing but hassle and I am only able barely get the one game I want to play working through it, yet with Origins I had very little issue in doing so. So modding isn't the cause.
I did however come across a fix to get Origins working, however I'm reluctant to post it in part because I know for many people it'll be hard to do, but more so due to not wanting the publisher of said fix to incur EA's wrath. I tried the fix and while it got Origin working by removing the stupid non closable pop up. I personally was not able to launch my game through Frosty Mod Manager for some reason and therefore had no choice but to install the new launcher.
I do not know the forum rules of links so I will simply say search on Youtube for the following: ' Modify Origin.exe yourself (to avoid using EA App) ' and enjoy! All credit to the guy who made the video.
