How do I bypass the EA App and access Origin to play games.

How do I bypass the EA App forced installation and access Origin to play games. I cannot open Origin. It is forcing to install the EA app that does not work! The EA app is broken. Purchased conten...

The local.xml trick does not work for me anymore. I've spent hundreds of dollars in the Sims and it's dlc, only for it to be locked off. Very crummy EA.😠

eh, looks like the xml is updated everytime origin is launched and the added entry (migration disabled) is removed
any potential workarounds in existence already?

    Reinstall the 10.5.119.
    When you inicialize Origin, it will ask to update. Close. Do the xlm trick. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin and delete OriginSetupInternal.exe. For now, it is working for me. How long? I don't know.
