have tried several times to log in to EA app for the first time in a while and I keep getting EC:10500. I tried repairing the app and it still doesn't work. logging into the EA website works fine, it's just the app that's having a problem.

Hey Virdanis,
If you haven't already, can you please try clearing the EA App's cache and running the app as Admin before logging in again?
