Every Time I try to log in, it shows Error code EC 10000 (sometimes EC 10500). What's the point of purchasing EA Games if all the games I have purchased, I can't access anymore? Origin worked fine, you destroyed every credibility left by moving to EA App which is not working for most users. On the rare occasions that I'm able to log in, it doesn't launch games.
CM edit: edited title for clarity.
Same issue. Wasn't having any problems with the app before the weekend. Now I can't launch FIFA or Jedi Survivor because the app doesn't work properly. Seriously, I bought the games through Steam, you guys already have my money, why does the game need to launch through a second game launcher that's been plagued with bugs since it launched? If I buy it through Steam it should only have to work through Steam.

Nothing. It tries to launch the game throug Steam and the EA app opens and immediately closes. I try to launch the EA app on its own and the app is bugged. I get the yellow "this is taking longer than expected" banner at the top of the window and my Library page won't load at all. I don't use VPN, I'm not downloading anything in or out of the app, only other application I have open is Steam but it's not doing anything aside from trying to launch the game. EA games are the only ones that have this issue.

Hey everyone,
There are some updates being pushed through the EA App. With this one, can you make sure you run through the following real quick? Should only take a couple of minutes to do.
If you are using Steam, Repair any games you are launching here first.EA App
EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)If the game is in the EA App and not Steam, repair and update your game
Close the EA App
Close as many programs as you can that you have open on your PC.Delete Windows Temp Files
- Press the Windows key + R, go into the file explorer
- Type in %temp%, and hit Enter
- Delete everything it allows you to delete
- Reboot the PC
If you have no updates to the app(s) or games after this, try to launch the game(s) again.

EXACTLY! Please tell me you found a fix. The only thing that semi worked for me was turning off the firewall. But I shouldn't have to do that to play a freaking game.

Hey everyone.
There is a lot of good info here as this seems to be more network/permission based as from what is described and what did and did not work. Can we try the following steps and let me know if they work or do not work?
Connection Steps
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
- Connection and Advance Connection Guides
- Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server)
- Change DNS settings (You can use the public Google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4)
- Change TCP/IP Settings
- Set up a Static IP
- Try a new Windows User Account, This changes any settings you have made for network and security
- Reset Windows Host File
- Change UAC Controls within Windows
- Try Safe Mode with Networking - you want to see if it is a firewall or antivirus blocking it.
Thanks to @SUPREMEE7 for these steps.
