Hello everyone,
I'm sorry to hear that some of you are still facing this issue. In most cases, this issue is related to local network settings or your internet service provider (ISP). To resolve the issue, you can follow the troubleshooting steps below:
Standard troubleshooting steps for the EA app (please click on "Spoiler" to reveal the info):
Check for other applications that may be limiting EA app or Game performance,An EA app recovery (Clear Cache),Repair or verify your game files (based on which client you are launching from),EA app - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)Steam - Verify in your library.
Connection & Administrator troubleshooting steps for Windows (please click on "Spoiler" to reveal the info):
Connection and Advance Connection Guides,Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server),Change DNS settings (You can use the public Google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4),Change TCP/IP Settings,Set up a Static IP,Check date/time is correct in Windows,Try a new Windows User Account,Reset Windows Host File,Flush DNS:Click “Start” and type the word “Command” in the Start search field. Finally, right-click the command prompt icon and select the option to “Run as Administrator”,In the open prompt, type “ipconfig /flushdns” (without the quotes), and press the Enter button on your keyboard,You should receive a message of your success as confirmation when the cache is cleared.

This isnt resolved @EA_Leeuw . I installed the EA app on my laptop (As opposed to my gaming desktop) and put the laptop on my phone's hotspot and I get the SAME result. The issue isnt with our internet, internet settings, a conflicting software, or Windows. It's your garbage * software/services is the problem. How stupid do you think we are? IT people exist on these forms, and tried all basic troubleshooting.
If it was affecting one or two dozen people, that would be an unfortunate one off issue.
Hundreds or thousands of people being affected isnt user error, or some kind of conflicting software. That is an outage. Fix this * and stop trying to get us to play computer technician to diagnose your issues. Go look at this section of the forms. Its post after post after post of this error. This is clearly an issue on your end not ours. Get it together.

Ugh You know at this point I miss Origin. When it does this I feel like I am playing some kind of spin the bottle thing only the bottle rarely lands on me. First it starts with the normal "Thanks to a known stubborn issue ..." and it has me log in again then I get this like a billion times.
Then when it does log me in like once in awhile the spin the bottle bottle lands on me. I get this.
Then I click to restart the app and it goes back to doing the first thing again.
This is making me wish for Origin back.

ONG the bottle chose me for the kiss. So far everything is there.

Had the same problem. I think something went wrong server wise.
The app is working again for me.

i was getting this same message since yesterday. tonight i tried logging in with facebook and that worked. however, now i can't actually play with my sim. i can get into build mode and i can edit my sim through the choices on the bottom right of screen, but not play.
this is so damn frustrating!

I cannot log in to my account for 1 week now.. error code 10000
- 2 years ago@alexislynn29 I have the same problem now. Im trying to start BF4 from Steam, but it doesn't work. EA app also doesn't work. This is pathetic

Same. Tried to open Madden yesterday, after over 100 hours of gameplay, and got the error code 10000. Tried EVERYTHING on the "solutions" page. Every last "fix." Searched youtube, reset my PC, clean booted it, firewall, DNS, VPN, NOTHING WORKS. THIS IS NOT OUR PROBLEM. EA has to be the worst gaming experience known to mankind. Every other game on my PC works. Fix your sh*t.
