I changed to the ea app on Sunday 19th May - all went smoothly and I opened the sims successfully. Came to open the ea app on Tuesday 21st May at first it took several clicks to display anything then eventually the login page appeared. I logged in then it showed the EC: 10000.
I have restarted and re-downloaded the app as well as trying to open it on several different wifi sources and hotspots.
Nothing has worked so ANY help would be appreciated as I’m desperate to get it fixed!!!
I have tried ALL the options in this thread the best I can - this was difficult as all of them were fixes for windows/pc not for Mac. I have spent hours researching and trying to fix this issue and its still not resolved. This is so disappointing any help at all would be highly appreciated.

It seems to be an ISP issue for me. Im from Norway and use Telia. Confirmed yesterday on reddit that another user had same issues as me. EC-10500 and cannot log into any ea web services such as companion, web app or website.
Currently logged in on ea on my phone using my mobile network (another ISP).
When connected to wifi I cannot log into ea services as it redirects me to signin.ea.com/p/juno/offline?locale=en_US&theme=theme everytime.
Not sure if this needs a fix from ISP or EA. Please advise. Done all the suggestions for fixes here already.

I've got the same problem. Can't log on to the app, the error code 10500 appears. But I don't think this is connected to the WIFI. I've tried several WIFIs and I tried to share internet from my phone , nothing works.

Its not Telia, its EA.
Reports of this has been coming from all over the world. (check downdetector etc)
Dont spend time trying to troubleshoot your own computer either because EA have to fix the ongoing server issues on their side.
I have the same issue on and off. Sometimes I cant login to ea app or ea.com because the log in server is not available. EA app and ea.com treats this as you being offline.
Try to log into ea.com. If you get the offline error it means EA still is having issues for your region so try again later. If you do get to log in it means you now should be able to log into ea app as well. However some times the ea app is stuck and you need to use the app recovery tool first. Its found under EA in the start menu. If you can log in please do so and do not log out again as you may meet the log in issue again next time. Example I couldn't log in to day until about 10 AM CET, after that I was able to log in but now (12.30 CET) I cant log in again. Same happened yesterday evening with random times I can and cannot log in.
btw I use Telia as well and can verify its possible to log in with Telia as ISP as long as EA doesnt have issues.
