Hey,
I have been trying for four days now.. When I open EA it says it can not connect to servers, then sends me to log in. I try to log in, but only get this message:
Something went wrong
Due to the effects of a particularly stubborn issue, you will need to log in again.
Errorcode: EC:10500
I have tried any tips from the sims forum and my internet deliver.
Things I have tried:
- Delete the app, and download again.
- Everything to do with firewall
- Restarted my router
- Change my internet connection and server
- Tried to use my mobile internet.
- I have been in contact with the company that I deliver internet subscription, they tried and failed.
- I have been in contact with Telia (yes did see a post here earlier that Norwegians have this issue with Telia) and they where unaware of the problem and could not fix it.
Please help me with this issue, I need my chill sims weekends now in a very stressful time in my life.
Same here. Also in Norway. Do not have Telia and have tried for well over a week with three different web-companies on different locations without luck. My boyfriend has had no issues with his EA-app and web-account, and we live together. I am both struggling to get into EA app (error code 10500 every time) and also logging into my account on ea.com (error code: "you must be connected to internet when logging in the first time"). Only able to reply here because my Mac never was logged off my website-account. Not able to log in via iPad og iPhone on the website. If more people are experiencing this they might not be able to log in to report the issues to EA. Really frustrating and hopeless to get any EA-assistanse on this apparently. Seems like a EA-server issue, definitely nothing to do Telia in my case.
