I am experiencing the known error with the EA app (EC:10000) and cannot open it. When the EA server was down in March, someone posted instructions on how to play The Sims 4 by going into Documents or Applications (I use a Mac) which worked and I cannot remember how to do it. 

If you know how, please share!
