panpan6222 Right, the App can be stubborn like that. I do sometimes have the option to restart and update "later," but I don't know how effective that is.
As for how this happens, it's possible the App has a built-in timer that only allows you to stay offline for a certain amount of time before it requires that you go back online to at least check for updates. I don't know whether this is the case, but it would make sense. And the App gets updates often enough that there would probably be one waiting for you.
