I can't download my packs back in sims 4.

I can't download my sims 4 packs back. I read that you have to clear your cache by going to the three dashes in the corner of EA app, and then click "help". but since I'm on Mac I do not have these, so I can't do anything about it. Please, can someone help me? or did I loose my sims 4 packs and there's nothing to do about it? and no, repair does not help. When i click download it just says "paused", and when i click download again it says something went wrong, i tried re downloading the app too, but nothing works.
