I already have origin. Just let me play the games that I PAYED for.

@EA_Illium Why FORCE people to use an App that is buggy? Why? It makes zero sense. Origin worked. It was fine. The EA app isn't ready. Its buggy. You know it and yet still you force people onto it and then offer no solutions for issues.

YES!!! this EA APP is terrible. Literally the worst software I've ever come across. And the most unreachable customer service ever.

I simply want the ability to still use the software I already have on my computer (origin) and play my games. I shouldn’t have to download different software when the software I already have has continued to work for years. Don’t fix something that isn’t broken.

@EA_Illium The EA app doesn't even work. I cant play the sims, which i paid for, whenever i click on it, NOTHING happens. I do not want the app, I like origin cause it actually frickin works. I shouldn't have to download a new app for something I paid for

Yep, DAI ran fine for 559 hours on Origin and then the forced switch to the EA App two days ago has stopped it completely. Finely got the game to open but as soon as the opening scenes go by at normal speed and it loads a "Saved" or "Continued" game, it immediately and visibly sloooooows way down to a virtual stop. Hitting the Space bar to jump comes with a 40-60 second delay and none of the four characters on the screen can actually move other than "Jump" straight Up and Down. They're just standing there and everything else looks like some fast stop motion video effect. I've logged in\out of the EA App, cleared the EA App cache, powered off\on the PC, and repaired the game and did all these steps multiple times and saw no effect at all. The Help Desk couldn't help and escalated it. There are multiple posts about issues with DAI now that we were all forced to install the EA App. So unfortunately it's no surprise to EA but the issues continue unabated.I have over 600 games on GOG and have no issues with game performance. I have one game on the now New "EA App" and the one game no longer works since I was forced to install the EA App. You know where the EA focus is when you click on the game specific Shortcut on "your own PC's desktop" and INSTEAD of loading your game you payed for, it takes you to an AD selling another game for EA in the EA App. You have to click on another game icon to get your game to play. I do not appreciate the "forced on me" sales pitch especially when my one game doesn't work and they can't fix it yet. It's a slap in the face. The fully functional Origin App was removed when the forced install of the EA App took place. I would never use the EA App if I had the option to do otherwise. The only positive thing I can take away from my experience with the EA App is: it failed immediately after installation and is currently ruining the only gaming experience I have with their EA App platform. Therefore I know to NOT waste my money there and to never buy anything else from the EA App. The EA App is 0 for 1 for me and support does not seem to know how to fix the wide swath of issues they created based on the many posts related to the forced EA App install. This includes all the related issues with extremely poor DAI game performance. It worked completely fine on the Origin platform. So EA, identify what you changed from the Origin platform that is causing all these issues and fix it or let us reinstall the Origin App so we can use what we paid for.

@jnettech We're all in the same boat. EA App was FORCED on us, and it broke everything. Personally, I was happy to play OFFLINE, but EA sneakily downloaded its new launcher onto my computer, despite the fact that I had disabled automatic upgrades, and now I'm unable to play any of my old games. Shame on EA for their shoddy work, and shady practices!

Omg I haven't noticed that you cant play games offline anymore I am so upset, I've seen so many complains like literally thousands of them, and I'm not sure how they're gonna fix them all. kinda scared that it would never work properly again ☹️

Same here. Tried playing C&C Remastered, but it won't launch because of some Administrator rights dribble. Origin did not have this problem. Normally I just switched launcher, but since EA App is force fed on us now, I can't play some of my games anymore. Ending my EA Pro was the only option I had I guess. It's never going to be fixed. I don't even get why they had to try and fix something which wasn't even broken.

It amazes me that someone in a boardroom decided this is how things were going to happen. They looked at the daily driver Honda (Origin) and said to themselves “no, that’s just makes to much sense.” Then went and bought a Yugo (EA App) so they could paint it pretty colors and watch as other cars drive past them while they are broken down on the side of the highway. ridiculous.

@rdvestal Your DAI opens? Mine just pops up the window that says Dragon Age and then immediately disappears, along with the EA app. Then the EA app opens again and says I've played an additional minute.
So frustrating. I can't open the game at all. And you're right about all the ads.

@leiascully42 Mine doesn't even do that. A black screened minimized window pops up for two seconds, then it closes entirely. I've tried SO many different "solutions" but nothing works. I can't even play Mass Effect Legendary, which I bought on Steam bcuz of this. I bought these games, I should be able to play them whenever I want.

did you try to remove the keep access setting? i cannot play to my game because EA is glitched and i can't remove it

Yeah the only way I can even play the sims is to go into multiple files and run the launcher as admin....this * needs looking into ASAP

@EA_Illium Just delete your EA app or just allow the games to be played Offline. Your app doesn't allow the games to be played offline. Origin was far better than EA TRASHAPP.
