I'd like to report a bug

I got switched over from Origin to EA on a Mac yesterday.  Sims 4 base game came fine, but all my expansions and packs did not. Now I just have to wait, hoping it gets fixed.

  • I was switched over to EA yesterday, and by base game loaded fine, but I can't play my saved game because all of my packs did not. I was told it was a bug and all I could do was report it and wait. The expansions are: get to work, cats & dogs university, cottage living, high school years , horse ranch, for rent, dine out and backyard stuff.

    Hi @reanders7,

Do you know why the packs didn't download? Did they give you an error?

When you open the app, navigate to your Library on the left side. Hover over the game tile and left-click on the three dots. Then, select 'Manage add-ons'. Does it show that you can manually download and install them?

You can fix it yourself. Where is your Sims 4 base game app? Wherever that is located there should also be a Sims 4 Packs folder which is where all your DLC is located. If it isn't there, locate it on your Mac and move it to the same location as the base game so it looks something like this:

Edit - merged your posts together in the EA App Mac forum. The Sims 4 Mac forum is for Sims 4 Mac technical issues, not EA App Mac  issues.
