impossible to launch bf4 with EA app

When I launch the game there may be nothing according to EA app the game is launched but it does not appear in the windows task manager. And I can't launch another EA App game. So I have to force close the EA App process in the task manager.

It's crazy to have to go through this. I tried to launch the game with battlelog but without success.

Uninstall the EA AP - install the  origin program. THen go through https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/

and log in through that site, I never got the app to work either but this way all the BF games works for me.

Meaning BF 3 and 4, you can pick in the top menu.

I have the exact same problem

I can launch bf3 but BF4 just won't from the EA app.

Launches fine from origin.

Can't have EA app and origin at the same time it seems though.

Open to suggestions to get this to work in EA app.

Try install visual 2013(vc++ 12.0)

Guys, what worked for me was following this video and then when you are in the programdata folder type 'ea' in the search bar and delete everything related to the ea app. (beware, there is other files and folders appearing in the search results, so make sure you only delete ea app files and folders). Then reinstall the ea app.
