Summarize your bug EA Play is included with XBox GamePass Ultimate for PC. However when opening the Windows 10 Xbox app and clicking on an EA game to install. It launches the prompt to install EA Desktop (which IS installed), when clicking "install" it fails, and tells me to go download it from the EA-site. Again, it IS installed.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch Xbox App on Windows 10 and try to install any EA Game with a GamePass Ultimate membership that's supposed to include EA Play....try to install a game.
What happens when the bug occurs? Xbox for windows 10 asks to install EA Desktop which installed. Then it just stops. EA Desktop just asks me to pay for EA Play.
What do you expect to see? I expect when I click on an EA Play game on the Xbox for windows app for it to install in the XBox app OR for EA Desktop to launch and KNOW that I have an active GamePass membership and allow me to install EA Play games....
EA Play is included with XBox GamePass Ultimate for PC. However when opening the Windows 10 Xbox app and clicking on an EA game to install it launches EA Desktop and asks me to install EA Desktop. When trying to import friends from my connected Xbox Live account on EA Desktop, I get a red triangle, saying it failed to load in friends. So something with the linking between the two accounts are wonky.
