Having the exact same issue. Is this ever going to get fixed or is EA just going to continue falsely advertising that their platform has crossplay with friends? I am astounded that I am seeing people having this issue in one form or another for years and I haven't seen a single helpful thing from anyone with EA. And this "customer support forum" is an absolute joke. Why can't I just open a support ticket?
Edit: And of course when I try to make a support thread for my issue it just freezes when I click on submit...

  I also made a separate thread and @EA_Lanna closed it, sent me here and didn't bother answering me after that. It's a joke.

  @nuggleyblu seems like EA is just lying about cross play on Battlefield 2042. Its so frustrating I just want to play with friends.
