Reason Code= Missing DLL:[d3dx9_31.dll] Error: 0x7E."How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure.What happens when the bug occurs? When everything was under Origin they helped me merge my account with my family members account, moving all my owned games to this account, I have all my receipts. ive tried to install both links but i still cant start any game via the ea launcher

I just bought Sims Medieval today and every time I open it I get this same error message/code. I tried restarting my computer too and that didn't work. Sims 3 also won't open but doesn't give an error message it just briefly closes and reopens the EA app. If it can't be corrected, at the very least, I want a refund for Sims Medieval. Though, I'd much rather just be able to play the game. I never had problems like this with the Origin Launcher, but I don't know if it's related to the switch since Sims 4 has been working fine. I don't share my account, and the repair function in the EA app doesn't seem to work for me either. It also is telling me I don't own Sims 3 or Sims Medieval.

Please help resolve this issue or refund me for Sims Medieval.

I'm getting this same error on Dragon Age: Origins. I have installed the recommended drivers from the links above. I also submitted an error ticket. Was your issue ever resolved? If so, how?
