Community ManagerOn December 8th 2024 I purchased the Discover University Pack as my first expansion pack EVER. I put a lot of thought into it, and I was super excited to play it. Then I did. Until today, when I went to play the sims it said that there had been a sims delivery or something, and that I needed to restart the app. So I fiddled around with the menu for a bit before exiting the game and going back in. But, when I went to play, I saw that my recent save (sims in bloom base game version) said it needed all the free packs I had (which aren't the problem) and it requires discover university to play. I sighed, and restarted my entire computer then loaded the app again. It said the same thing. So I went back to the EA app and saw on the bottom left corner that it said I had successfully downloaded/purchased the discover university pack. I loaded the game again and it said. the. same. thing. I went back out of the EA app, searched for the pack and it said I had to purchase it again! On the page it said I didn't own the pack! I searched the internet for a bit before going to the top right corner, going to help, and pressing "app recovery". It reset the EA app, and cleared the thing that said I had purchased the pack. I searched around more but couldn't find anything I haven't already tried. If this doesn't get solved I might cry (joke) or be definitely against purchasing any packs in the future because this was a big decision for me, and one little update threw it all away. I also checked my order history, nothing about buying the pack. nothing. I swear I am not lying, and I am pretty upset about this. has anyone else also had this problem? Because I can't think of anything that will fix this. There is legitimently no evidence of me purchasing this pack and I'm so confused.
I've found evidence that I own(ed) the pack! I'm attaching the photo here, but It's from a save file from my sims in bloom challenge (again, base game version) my sim is supposed to take a bunch of pictures, so its been saved in my files of the game! found it while I was snooping for any evidence of the pack file. There is a pong table in the background of the photo, which comes with the discover university pack. If this isn't enough evidence then I get it because its not a lot, but it proves that I could have had it. I'm so excited you will not believe! I have a couple photos from the world, but they were too big to attach and I'm not sure you can tell their from the worlds.
