Is there a way I can keep using Origin for Sims 4?

My laptop is too old to update to the required MacOS for the new EA app. I tried upgrading and it wouldn't let me play the Sims 4. I re downloaded Origin but it will not run as it is only showing me an option to upgrade. Can anyone help please?

Which version of macOS are you running? If you’re getting the option to upgrade to EA App in Origin then you can install EA App.

Origin is still available for macOS Mojave and previous versions.

@Rachelharris31 Thank you - does that just mean I can't play the sims? Is there nothing else I can use to run it maybe?

@BluebellfloraI'm on macOS Monterey on a MacBook Air 2017 so I should be able to get the new EA app but when I go on it says the sims is unavailable?

Moved to the EA App Mac forum. Can you post a screenshot of where it says TS4 is unavailable?

@Bluebellflora I realised it was an issue with it being downloaded through steam years ago - it's downloading on the EA app currently - thank you for all your help I was giving up on playing lol!
