Madden 23 won’t launch from the EA app - LINK2EA black screen on PC

I was forced to change from origin to the EA app automatically when trying to play madden 23. When I clicked play a blank black screen that said LINK2EA on the top would show for 2 seconds and disappear and the green play button would reappear. I have tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, unistalling the EA app and reinstalling, I have tried repairing it, and so many other different things and the game still wont open and neither will the EA app. I paid 60 bucks just to be randomly locked out of the game. Can somebody tell me how to get the EA app to launch?
